I’m Sam Riegsecker—a third-generation farmer, insurance advisor, and communicator from Northwest Ohio. My work brings together real-world farm experience, risk management, and a passion for sharing the people, decisions, and stories behind agriculture.

My career hasn’t followed a traditional path—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I grew up around agriculture and today help operate my family’s third-generation farm in Northwest Ohio. That experience has shaped the way I approach my work as an insurance advisor, giving me firsthand perspective on the decisions, risks, and challenges that farmers face.
Along the way, my background in business, marketing, and communication has also created opportunities to share the stories of agriculture through photography, drone video, and social media.
While each role is different, they all come back to the same thing: real-world experience, practical perspective and a desire to help others better understand the industries and risks that affect them.

Farming Isn’t Just Part of My Story. It’s What I Do.
I’m part of the third generation at Maranatha Acres, a family farm in Northwest Ohio founded in 1963. Today, we grow corn, soybeans, and wheat while continuing to build on more than 60 years of family farming.
Farming gives me a firsthand understanding of the decisions, challenges, and risks that come with agriculture. It also provides an opportunity to share what happens behind the scenes—from planting and crop scouting to harvest and everything in between.

Some of the most meaningful opportunities I’ve had have come from simply sharing what I see and experience every day.
Through photography, drone video, and social media, I create content that gives people an authentic look at agriculture—the work, technology, challenges, and people behind it.
Much of that work happens through Maranatha Acres, where we share the day-to-day story of our family farm. I’ve also had opportunities to work on agricultural campaigns and collaborations that help connect more people with the industry.
